Aurogrinders are the first large Oni introduced in Toukiden: Kiwami, first appearing in the Village Surrounds.

- Both fins and legs, the tail and the spike on its back can be severed and purified. The fins and the tail can also be permanently destroyed in Toukiden 2.
- The horn can be permanently broken.

Trivia[]
- Aurogrinders seem to be related to Terragrinders, due to having similar names, body structures and attack patterns.
- Aurogrinders are the only non-variant Oni that doesn't have an intro cutscene, most likely due to the fact they don't appear in any story missions.
- Although Aurogrinders appear often at the Ruins, their Mitama don't seem to be obtainable in the Free Alliances Version of Toukiden 2.
